This new engineering and design office in the Pointe South Mountain required a quick start to hit the ground running. The owners had purchased a new Small Business Server and seven workstations. They required a complete network with Internet connectivity, email, and domain hosting, printers and a plotter on the network. They had defaulted to using Qwest as their Internet service provider.

Within the first week, the network was set up, including the server, the router, the switch, the dsl modem, and the workstations. The server was fully configured, with accounts set up. The following week, after the domain and email accounts were set up at Qwest, the job was completed in a couple of days. The final setup was completed on the server, to create data areas, security and backups. The workstations were configured to use the server shared data and printers, Outlook for email, contacts and calendaring, and Internet browsing. Information Technology Support This growing company specializes in offering its clients out-sourced printing, copying, plotting, reproduction and delivery services. These services can be provided by setting up a complete, staffed printshop and IT Support shop on the customer's premises including maintenance and supply of all equipment and media, servers and technicians. Alternately on the lower end they provide a single piece of equipment like a plotter, and supply the media and the maintenance, track the usage, account for all media and output and produce detailed billing on a per-project or per-client basis.
